Lake Owasso Boathouse

While in the midst of the main house construction, a landscaping design issue prompted the purchase of an old cottage and boat house on the lot next door. The project grew to encompass the removal of the existing cottage and a rebuild on the original boathouse foundation. In an effort to honor the history of the property, the new boathouse seamlessly blends elements of both the old cottage and the original boat house. Many of the decorative items were found objects buried in time and uncovered during the build process. The end result was the perfect extension of the main house and the most relaxing place to experience lake life.
